This fund commemorates the founder of Village Schools of the Bible, Monty Sholund, and his wife, Doris. Monty spent most of his life as a missionary in the Congo before returning to the Twin Cities as a highly regarded and well-loved Bible teacher. This fund supports core aspects of the ministry including classroom expenses, scholarships, workbooks and teaching stipends. Scholarships ensure no-one is turned away from a deep study of God's Word because of financial challenges. Funds received over and above the budget of the fund purpose are allocated to the general fund.
