Seminary Studies

Through a collaborative agreement with the South African Theological Seminary (SATS), Village Schools of the Bible (VSB) students can receive, from SATS, recognition of prior learning for VSB courses. This means that VSB students can seamlessly continue their studies, at seminary level, towards any of the following:

●      Doctor of Philosophy in Theology

●      Master of Theology

●      Bachelor of Theology Honours

●      Bachelor of Theology

●      Higher Certificate in Christian Life

●      Higher Certificate in Christian Counselling

All courses are taught online by SATS. Village Schools of the Bible makes facilities and study resources available for study and for exams. In addition, VSB provides mentors with post-graduate qualifications who are available to meet regularly with students either one-on-one or in a group setting, to provide support, serve as accountability, prayer and discussion partners, and help ensure contextualized application.

SATS conforms with rigorous education standards and serves students from around the world. SATS programs are accredited by the South African Council on Higher Education (CHE), and registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). This includes registration with the South African Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). SATS programs have been evaluated and recognized in the USA, Europe, South America and Canada. SATS is a member of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education, the International Council for Higher Education, the CHEA International Quality Group, and the World Evangelical Theological Institute Association, a global network of evangelical theological colleges and seminaries. So credits earned with SATS are truly “portable” and can be transferred to other accredited, registered institutions.

It is the strong, biblically-based approach that attracts students to study at SATS, and makes the SATS / VSB partnership a perfect fit. Both SATS and VSB believe in partnering with like-minded ministries, churches, institutions, and organizations for Kingdom purposes. For further information contact, or call +1.952.540.9460.
